O!IW Sessions #2 featuring GOOD DANGERS

O!IW teamed up again with Sound You Can See at our last monthly showcase for another exclusive O!IW Session. Following on from the wonderful session we did with Sam Airey (you can still watch that session HERE), we pulled aside the ace GOOD DANGERS who played a brand new tune for us “Better Than You Were” in the top of The Old Queens Head on a ridiculously sunny afternoon…

A great night followed with Amber States, Findlay and Good Dangers playing to a packed out night. Look out for a new session this month, and news on our June 21st showcase that will feature the excellent Bear Driver, Southern and Sea Stacks.

May 24th, there be music

Oh! Inverted World returns to the Old Queens Head on May 24th with (as ever, obvs) an AMAZING line-up of Good Dangers, Amber States, Natalie Findlay and Golden Fable. You’d expect to pay good money for such quality, but no, IT’S TOTALLY FREE!

———-GOOD DANGERS———-

Here are Good Dangers cycling through woods in the dark (which is very dangerous, please don’t try at home kids, this could be a Bad Danger (haha, geddit?!))

———-AMBER STATES———-

Amber States are also amazing and you can listen to them here: http://www.facebook.com/Amberstatesmusic

———-NATALIE FINDLAY———-

Natalie Findlay is keeping it quiet online so far, but having seen her play a couple of months ago we are very sure you are all gonna fall for her too.

———-GOLDEN FABLE———-

Golden Fable are ridiculously lovely. Their video also features trees, but no cycling. They are aware of the dangers…

Good Dangers DFYF

Around this time last year we had a wonderfully exciting and dreamy indie-pop band on the Oh! Inverted World stage that left us swooning. That could of course have been caused by the copious booze we usually drink to stave off our monthly dose of ‘promoter fear’. But we know what we like and we like these guys (and girl). They are the London based 5-piece called Good Dangers.

Good Dangers

In a double-barrel bit of good (and not dangerous at all) news they not only have a new single DFYF (or Don’t Fuck Your Friends – probably good advice folks!) out now along with an ace new video, but they are also going to return to our OIW stage VERY soon.

More news on that to come, but for now you should get your eyes and ears around the excellent new Good Dangers video for DFYF below, and then get yourself over to itunes (link here), or your preferred download store to grab a copy!
