THE DEPRECIATION GUILD, JAMES VINCENT MCMORROW, KIT RICHARDSON
April 22nd, The Old Queens Head (London)
On April 22nd we return once more to the Old Queens Head for another Oh! Inverted World spectacular! We might be one man down with our resident tall guy Sam currently spending his time living in Buddhist monasteries in Japan, but he will be with us in ‘meditating spirit’ at least, and hell, it will be amazing.
Here’s who we have…
Hailing from Brooklyn New York and two-thirds of The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, they make awesomely beautiful shoe-gazy pop songs that will make you feel all floaty and lovely. To say we’re super excited is a slight understatement, it’s going to be amazing.
We’ve already waxed lyrical about how much we love Mr McMorrow. Coming across like Dublin’s answer to Bon Iver, with hauntingly gentle vocals and lo-fi guitars, we think you might just fall in love this guy. Definitely one to catch.
London singer-songwriter Kit Richardson plays piano with her band and makes people happy with her tunes. We’ve been trying to get Kit and her band on our stage for the last 6 months and FINALLY it seems we’re going to make our calenders join in harmony.
So that’s all the bands, but don’t worry cos the party don’t stop there. Nope it don’t. After all this live music entertainment we’ll be having another phenomenal DJ set from the one and only Dave Depares. Guaranteed to make you shake your stuff, like yeahhhhhh.
Fun, yes? YES! Full details and the facebook event HERE folks!
